June brings Milford Music Festival
Music, food and shopping on the weekend of June 8
MILFORD — The 2012 Milford Music Festival this year will take place June 8 through 10 and once again the tree lined streets of Milford will be filled with the sound of music.
Highlights as always include the Jorgensen’s Block Party at the corner of Broad and Harford on Saturday and Music in the Park, which will present Small Town Sheiks at Ann Street on Sunday afternoon.
Belle Reve will continue their tradition of free ice cream and live music on Saturday afternoon along with many more businesses all over town. It’s a walk-about-an-enjoy kind of event so wear your walking shoes and bring your sunscreen for two days of live music, food and shopping.
The evenings will be full as well as many of Milford's many fine eateries including The River Rock Inn, Waterwheel Cafe, Hotel Fauchere and the Tom Quick join in the fun in addition to scheduled performances at the historic Milford Theatre.
On Saturday and Sunday, Milford shopkeepers will host the Milford Business Council's annual Sidewalk Shopping Festival along Broad and Harford streets and at the historic Upper Mill, Apple Valley Village and Old Lumberyard Shops. In addition to the many sales and promotions, The Artisan Exchange will host a craft fair on the lawn of its gallery.
The Milford Business Council is still seeking additional businesses to participate and businesses that are looking for musical talent. Don’t miss out!! For more information regarding Milford Music Festival and a complete festival schedule, see Facebook and www.milfordpa.us .
