The OSCAR Volutneer Animal Rescue in Sparta announces several pets up for adoption.

Dorothy
Dorothy is a female Shepherd/Plott Hound mix between 2 to 4 years old and weighs about 60 pounds. She has the most beautiful brindle coat and is quite the people person. She has a sweet, laid back personality and loves head rubs. She enjoys cuddling and being loving towards her owners.

Hope
Hope is a female lab/german shepherd mix. Up until October, Hope only knew a lifetime of neglect. Her living conditions were so bad that the NJ ASPCA had to remove her. Hope still suffers from bowed legs, but she is able to get around. And despite everything Hope has been through, she is a sweet, wonderful, loving dog. This 10 year old girl would probably do best in a quiet home with only a few stairs.

Iris
Iris is a female all white short haired cat. We rescued this blue-eyed Siamese beauty from a high-kill shelter here in New Jersey. She is super sweet and cuddly. She is also deaf, which is often the case with white cats with blue eyes. But this two year old special needs girl is still able to live a pretty normal life.

Bella
Bella was found all alone, cold and hungry, on the street. It seems either someone found her a nuisance, or was just plain mean, because she had been shot in the leg with a bee-bee gun. She was brought inside, fed and made warm, and her wound tended to. She is all better now and ready for her forever home. Bella is a beautiful, sweet girl that deserves lots of love and attention. She is approximately 1-2 years old, great with kids, and would do just fine in a house with another friendly cat.

Mia
Mia is a female brown tabby who is 1-2 years old. She is extremely sweet and loving. She is social and bonds quickly. She has a big personality and is hoping for a home of her own.
