'Follow the Leader' film to premier at the Milford Theatre

The PBS Documentary “Follow the Leader” will have its Pennsylvania premier at the Milford Theatre at 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 6.

The film charts the lives of three high school class presidents, including Delaware Valley High School’s Nick Troiano, as they enter college and become politically involved. Over three life-changing years, they split into Republican, Democratic and Independent camps as each reconsiders his ambitions and rethinks what he truly believes.

The non-partisan film was the only one to premiere during both the Democratic and Republican National Conventions in 2012. It has been shown theatrically and has been featured on CNN, FOX, and C-Span. Many nationally known politicians appear in the film, and Education Week calls it "A political coming-of-age story for political junkies."

A live Q&A with Nick Troiano, now a potential independent candidate for Congress, and Filmmaker Jonathan Goodman Levitt, will follow the screening. After the event, guests are invited to a reception at the Hotel Fauchere for complimentary hors d'oeuvres.
