MILFORD — On June 27-29 the tree lined streets of Milford will be once again be filled with the sound of music.

Jorgenson's Dimmick Inn will once again have their famous Saturday “Block Party." The bands will be announced soon on milfordmusicfest.org.

The New River Rock Inn will be reopened and with in their back event field on Sunday. Music in the Park (at the Ann St. Park) will feature American Idol's Kendall Phillips and local bluegrass/old-time country band the Hawk Owls.

Others venues will include music at the Dairy Bar, Fretta’s Italian Specialties, The Hotel Fauchere, Chant Realty, the Pike County Public Library and numerous additional shops all over town.

Bands and musicians interested in performing are encouraged to contact the Milford Music Festival's Facebook page: (facebook.com/milfordmusicfest). Local businesses are interested in finding talent are encouraged to check out the Milford Music Festival Facebook page.

Since 2010, the Music Festival has been a Borough- wide sidewalk event with music, shopping, dining and fun all over town, attracting music lovers and encouraging them to explore Milford. Over twenty-five Milford businesses participate, giving music lovers a reason to experience Milford from one end of town to the other.

2014 highlights will again include the Block Party at the Dimmick, free ice cream and live music at Belle Reve on Saturday afternoon, music and food at Fretta's and a barbeque with a band at the River Rock Inn on Sunday. In the evenings at each of Milford's many fine eateries including the River Rock Inn, Waterwheel Café, Hotel Fauchere and the Grotto at the Zaloom House there will be something to hear and on Sunday there will be Music in the Park.
