On Saturday, May 17, Harmony presents Lincoln Center sell-out and toe-tapping, genre-busting Americana Cajun Jazz musicians, The Amigos Band in the underground theater of the Hawley Silk Mill at 7:30 p.m.

This one-of-a-kind act delivers daring takes on American standards and original songs that already sound like classics — all tightly arranged to suit the group’s unique mix of alto saxophone, accordion, acoustic guitar, and hollerin' voices. They have appeared in recent performances with Pete Seeger, David Amram, New Orleans’ Preservation Hall Jazz Band, and bluegrass legend Tony Rice.

In 2013 The Amigos Band were chosen to serve as American cultural ambassadors for the American Music Abroad program by the U.S. Department of State.

Get tickets in advance online for $16 and get 20 percent off your bill at Glass Wine Bar & Bistro after 9:30 p.m. on the day of the show. Tickets are also available at the door for $20. Cocoon caters wine, beer and snacks on site at Harmony Presents shows.

For more information about these events or to purchase tickets, visit www.harmonypresents.com, send an email to jill@silkmillharmony.com or call 570-588-8077.

Shows take place in the underground theater of the Hawley Silk Mill with views of the waterfall shared with Ledges Hotel. The Hawley Silk Mill is located at 8 Silk Mill Drive in Hawley, Pa.
