The 18th Annual Pocono Mountains Bluegrass Festival returns June 20 to 22 to the GDS Fairgrounds in Newfoundland, Pa. This outdoor family event has a covered stage and seating area, camping, food and crafts, a midnight campsite jam contest, workshops, and plenty of music.

The bands include Remington Ryde, The Carroll County Ramblers, Louie Setzer and the Appalachian Mountain Boys, Mark Milkos, Nitro Ride, Chester Johnson and the Foggy Mountain Grass, The Lost Ramblers, The Zepp Family Band, The Blades of Grass, Homespun Bluegrass, Mail Pouch Express, and Scott Eager & High Lonesome Sound.

The music runs from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.

This rain or shine event for the whole family (including friendly dogs) emphasizes traditional bluegrass in a beautiful setting at an affordable price.
