Church to hold BBQ fundraiser for Biasi family
DINGMANS FERRY — Dingmans Ferry United Methodist Church is raising money to help the family of Tom Biasi, who was killed in a car accident early on Wednesday morning, May 28, when an oncoming vehicle swerved into his lane, hitting him head-on.
He had diabetes and so was denied life insurance. His wife, Melissa, and three daughters, Savannah, 11, Morganne, 6, and Tabitha, 8 are in need of money to cover funeral costs, burial costs, and a fund for the girls. "Please help this fellow, loving Pike County family," the church urges.
A family barbecue from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 28 with games, live entertainment and silent auction will benefit the Biasi family.
Visit the Biasi Family Benefit on Facebook for additional details.
If you are unable to attend the event, consider making a donation online at www.gofundme.com/9mda6s, or local business can donate items for the silent auction. Food donations for the benefit would be greatly appreciated as well.
Call 973-903-2832 for additional information.
