MILFORD — "A Salute to a Great Nation" is the theme of the The Milford Garden Club's semi-annual annual flower show to be held Aug. 22-23.
All amateur designers and growers are eligible to enter. Horticultural entries must have been grown by the exhibitor or be in the exhibitor's possession for at least 90 days before the show.
Floral designers and craft exhibitors will have the opportunity to interpret themes such as "Grand Tetons" or "Skiing in Stowe, Vermont," and table designs such as "Honeymoon at Niagara Falls" and "New England Bed and Breakfast." Horticultural entries include annuals, perennials, roses, dahlias, and container-grown plants like African violets, cacti and succulents, ivy, and mixed plantings.
