— Milford's seventh annual Share the Harvest party to benefit the food pantry will be held Sept. 9 at The River Rock Inn in Milford.

The Milford Music Festival, which sponsors the party, was able to make a $1,000 cash donation and significant food donation to help neighbors in need from the money raised last year.

Highlights of this year's event include live music by Eric Langberg; favorite dishes from 15 of Milford's favorite food purveyors, like Fretta's Italian Specialties, The Waterwheel Café and Jorgenson's at The Dimmick; as well as dozens of prizes donated by area businesses.

Guests will sample the fare from Milford kitchens in the River Rock gardeb.

Attendees are asked to bring non-perishable food items to the party. Each item is a chance to wi: bring 10 items, receive 10 raffle tickets. Prizes include gift certificates to Milford businesses and gift items from local stores. 50/50 raffle tickets will also be sold, with a cash prize estimated at $250.

Donations to the Milford food pantry are critical to a number of families in the community, the sponsors say: "Share The Harvest is a way to enjoy an evening out with friends and neighbors while supporting this worthy cause."

Tickets are limited to 200 guests and sold in advance only. They are available at The Artisan Exchange (219 Broad St.), The River Rock Inn, or The Craft Show (120 East Harford St.).
