Belle Reve Senior Living announces the addition of Michelle Setta, RN, to their team, as Director of Nursing. She is responsible for directing and supervising all of the nursing care functions in the Skilled Nursing Unit, and ensuring quality patient care.

Her previous positions include being a Director of Nursing, Nurse Practice Educator, and Infection Control Nurse. She has 17 years of leadership experience in long-term care with a focus on compliance of care delivery standards and regulatory compliance. She has a background in Infection Control, Staff Development, and implementation of and ensuring compliance of electronic medical record software.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The Pennsylvania State University. Her certifications include being certified as a Pennsylvania State Department of Education Nurse Aide Instructor, certified in Long-Term Care, and holding a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Health Administration at The University of Scranton.

Setta has three children and lives in Lackawanna County. She enjoys CrossFit, bike riding, hiking, gardening and cooking. She also enjoys spending time with her 82-year-old grandmother and going on shopping trips together.
