George Michael Baldanzi of Milford dies at age 80






George Michael Baldanzi of Milford, Pa., died Friday, April 15, 2016, at Westchester Medical Center. He was 80.

Son of the late George and Lena Parenti Baldanzi, he was born Jan. 17, 1936, in Paterson, N.J.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.

He attended Hawthorne High School in Hawthorne, N.J., and the Bordentown Military Academy in Bordentown, N.J. He also attended Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pa.

He was a 32-year member of the Port Jervis Country Club and also a member of the CRS League at the Country Club as well.

He retired as a corrugated salesman for Beisler-Weidmann Company in Belleville, N.J.

A family statement read: “He was a loving husband, father and friend. He was an avid golfer and had a love for animals. He will be greatly missed.”

Survivors include his wife, Mickey Baldanzi of Milford, Pa.; children, Stephen Baldanzi and his wife, Toni, of Pittsburgh; Thomas Hardy and his wife, Anna Liese, of Milltown, N.J.; Kathryn Myers and her husband, Matt, of West Orange, N.J.; grandchildren, Alex, Joseph, Abigail,Rhys and Blake; two sisters-in-law, Judy Burke and her husband, Arthur, of Point Pleasant Beach, N.J., and Dana Tamberelli of Clark Summit, Pa.; nephews, Michael Kehr, Tomasso, and Mateo Tamberelli; special cousin, Joey Tiritelli; his beloved dogs, Tequila and Dixie; and his four beloved cats.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Cremation will be at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford.

Contributions may be made to the Pike County Humane Society, 186 Lee Road, Milford, PA 18337 in memory of George and his love for animals.

Funeral arrangements were made by the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Port Jervis.
