MILFORD — The local ecumenical food pantry, a self-sustaining ministry of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, invites the public to an open house at its new location. "You will learn how neighbors are helping neighbors and how our new space allows us to serve our clients with dignity and respect in a safe and welcoming environment," says the invitation.

The open house will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 22, at 321 Fifth St. in Milford. The presentation is at 2 p.m.

Light refreshments will be served. RSVP by leaving a message at 570-618-1568.

If you would like to bring a nonperishable item, the pantry can always use tuna fish, pasta, peanut butter, canned vegetables, canned fruit, and canned beans.
