— Rocket of the Harlem Wizards came to visit Delaware Valley Elementary School. We were lucky to be able to talk with him!

We learned that Rocket enjoys entertaining people. We asked him what it takes to be on the Harlem Wizards team. He said that in addition to being able to play basketball really well, you need to be able to talk with people and make them laugh.

The farthest place he ever traveled with the Harlem Wizards was China. There is a player currently on the team that has been with the Wizards for 50 years! His favorite basketball trick is to dunk on people. He never played for a professional basketball team. His favorite basketball team is the Los Angeles Lakers.

When he was little, his dream was to play basketball. He never thought he would be on the Harlem Wizards team!

The team played against Delaware Valley teachers at Delaware Valley High School on May 31. It was a fundraiser for the Friends of Warrior Football.
