The 11th annual Tri-State Cropwalk, scheduled for Oct. 15 in the Port Jervis, area, will raise funds to help alleviate global hunger and to support eight area food pantries. In the past 10 years, the walk has raised $124,159.

The cropwalk will begin with registration at the Firemen' s Pavilion in Airport Park at 1 p.m. Starting at 2 p.m., walkers will enter Port Jervis and follow one-, two- or three-mile routes back to the Pavilion. There will be shirts and refreshments for walkers.

Most walkers sign up with their recruiter in their churches, but all are welcome to come on the day of the cropwalk and participate. Questions can be directed to co-chairs Elaine Cooper at trollrev@yahoo.com or Linda O'Donnell at odonlin@hotmail.com.
