'Toast to Milford' aims to satisfy every discerning taste

— Taste, toast and tour your away around the streets of Milford on Saturday, Oct. 28, as dozens of specialty shops and eateries offer samplings of the best food and beverage selections in the region.

"Toast to Milford" is a completely free event is hosted by Milford Presents. Participating businesses will offer dishes to please every palate, from contemporary craft beers and farm-fresh menu favorites to signature sangrias and delectable balsamic vinegars.

There will be free tastings from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. in every corner of one of the Northeast's prettiest historic river towns. 

Highlights include:

Homemade ice cream, locally roasted coffee and Amish meats and cheeses at Green Valley Farms Market & Creamery

Drinks and treats at WaterWheel Guitars

Moonshadow Farms tasting at The Artisan Exchange and seasonal Sangria at Golden Gifts Jewelry

Gourmet coffee from Scranton's Electric City Roasting Company at the Hotel Fauchere

Fine wine from Nawrocki Imports at Bar Louis

Organic juices and candied apple dipping at The Patisserie at 403 Broad Street

Authentic cucina favorites at Fretta's Italian Specialties

Craft beer at Waterwheel Cafe, Bakery & Bar

Hot spiked apple cider at Davis R Chant Realtors on Harford Street

Tastings from The Fork at Twin Lakes at The Milford Craft Show, along with wine tasting from Stroudsburg's Renegade Winery

Wine and hors d'oeuvres from Peter's Europa House at Ambience Furniture & Fine Gifts

Milford Presents is a non-profit organization, promoting community sustainability though cultural events year round. The 2017 calendar still includes Milford's annual tree lighting, a holiday edition of Girls Night Out and two additional dates for Milford After Dark.
