— The Malibu Dude Ranch has announced its rodeo champions for 2017.

The top athletes winning in their respective events are:

Bull Rider — Grayson Cole of Schuylkill Haven, Pa.

Barrel Racer — Lanie Jones-Megivern of Susquehanna, Pa.

Tie Down Roper — Colton Swearingen of Piffard, N.Y.

Steer Wrestler — Mat Gartz of Bergen, N.Y.

Breakaway Roper — Taylor Miller of Newville, Pa.

Team Roping Header — Paul Crotta of Bethany, Conn.

Team Roping Heeler — Joe Santos of Wolcott, Conn.

 Dr. Allan and Phyllis Detweiler brought the original Pocono rodeo back to their ranch since purchasing it in 2010. The professional rodeos held in the arena are sanctioned by the American Professional Rodeo Association.
