Karen Lynn Hiler of Milford, Pa., dies at age 52

Karen Lynn Hiler of Milford, Pa., on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017, at home. She was 52.

Dughter of Thomas Presing and Barbara (Stevens) Eustice, she was born Nov. 18, 1964, in Dover, N,J. She was married to Paul Hiler on Feb. 2, 1979, in Dover, Del., and they enjoyed nearly 40 years of friendship and deep love together.

She owned and operated Artiques in Milford. She was an avid photographer and artist who loved interior decorating and restoring antiques. Karen’s talents always helped her make the world a more beautiful place for all of us. These talents also showed themselves in her unique style and love of jewelry, which she was always giving to her loved ones to spread the sparkle. Karen enjoyed spending time with her family and friends doing the things she loved, which also included gardening and visiting tropical beaches. Her love of life and generous spirit infected everyone she met and she was always trying to lend a helping hand wherever it was needed.

Survivors include her husband, Paul; daughter, Nicole Hiler of Hackettstown, N.J.; son, Michael Hiler of Budd Lake, N.J.; mother, Barbara Eustice of Hampton Township, N.J.; and sister, Tracey Schabacker of Newton, N.J.; along with many brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends.

Visitation was held at Stroyan Funeral Home in Milford on Oct. 21. Funeral services followed at the funeral home. Burial followed in Milford Cemetery, Dingman Township, Pa.
