Heinz Pahl of Milford, Pa., dies at age 81

Heinz Pahl of Milford, Pa., formerly of Garnerville, N.Y., died on Friday, Nov. 3, 2017. He was 81.

He was born and raised in Germany, moving to the United States in 1962.

He was married for almost 50 years to Rosemarie, who pre-deceased him. He operated the Pearl River Bakery for over 18 years.

He enjoyed playing with his granddaughters, baking, and traveling with his wife.

He leaves behind his son, Andreas, and his wife, Debbie, and their two daughters, Alexandra and Victoria; and his daughter, Stephanie, and her husband, Michael, and their daughter, Elizabeth.

Visitation and funeral services were held at Assumma-Shankey Funeral Home, 34 North Summit Street, Pearl River, N.Y., on Nov. 7, with the funeral on Nov. 8.
