To the Editor:

By now everyone who attended the holiday lighting ceremonies and all who have been in Milford after dark knows our beloved historical “star” is not shining its inspirational light down on us.

Is now up to all of you too “Restore Our Star.” If you care enough send your request to “Restore Our Star” to Washington, D.C.

It should be preserved as a Cultural Historic Site within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.

How do we persuade them? Send your emails to:

• Donald J. Trump, @realDonaldTrump — Twitter. Or president@whitehouse.gov. Or Donald J. Trump — Home on Facebook

• Secretary Ryan Zinke Department of Interior, @SecretaryZinke Twitter, Ryan Zinke — Home on Facebook

• Senator Pat Toomey (@SenToomey) — Twitter. Or Senator Pat Toomey — Home on Facebook

• US Representative Tom Marino (@RepTomMarino) — Twitter. Or Congressman Tom Marino — Home on Facebook.

You can easily find address for all above on the internet if you want to write a longer letter.

I will be sending my tweets and more to preserve our tradition since 1930.

Fred Cron
