— For a few hours last Thursday, hundreds of ladies visited Milford to celebrate Girls Night Out. During the event, Milford shopkeeper Deb Brooks and her daughters at Ambience Fine Furniture & Gifts thought up ways to keep the fun going, sharing their ideas with Barbara and Amy Eisenberg, owners of neighboring gift shop Milford Craft Show. WIthin hours, other businesses got on board, and Guys Night Out Milford was born.

Milford's first Guys Night Out will take place on Thursday, Dec. 21, from 5 until 8 p.m., just in time for last-minute holiday shopping. Some will stay open later, like The Waterwheel Cafe, Bakery & Bar, which hosts its weekly live blues Jam that same night.

Businesses will offer special features, including free finger foods and beer, fun games and giveaways as well as discounts, and deals on the perfect presents. Many of Milford's favorite eateries and bars will offer drink and dinner specials too.

The event is free, with no registration required.

Guys Night Out is hosted by Milford businesses coming together to make a better community. For more information, visit the Guys Night Out Milford event page on Facebook.
