Helen F. Dacunto of Lackawaxen, Pa., dies at age 78

Helen F. Dacunto of Lackawaxen, Pa., died on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, at home. She was 78.

Daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth (McClellan) Williams, she was born on May 3, 1939, in Jersey City, N.J.

She was an Eucharist Minister in Wantague, N.J. She was an overseas operator for AT&T in Wayne, N.J.

She was married to the late Raymond Dacunto, who predeceased her in December 2005.

Survivors include her children, Bryan Williams and wife, Sandra, of Mahonoy City, Pa.; Lisa Bulmer and husband, Kenneth, of Lackawaxen; Jennifer Dwan of Lords Valley, Pa., and Allison Osborne and husband, Louis, of Albrightsville, Pa.

She was predeceased by her grandson Steven Carota.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Milford, Pa., on Dec. 19, with Monsignor Remigio Rocco officiating. Cremation was to take place at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford Township, at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (jdrf.org) or Compassionate Care Hospice (cchnet.net).

Arrangements were by Stroyan Funeral Home, Milford.
