Delwin Fiddler Jr., internationally renowned Native American performing artist and cultural consultant from the Black Hills of South Dakota (second from right), recently met with PA Rep. Rosemary Brown (right), Maria Ragonese of East Stroudsburg United Methodist Church (left), and Joyce Marin of Marin Consulting (second from left) at Brown's district office in East Stroudsburg. Fiddler played a special song he wrote specifically for Brown about the Native American flute and performed an honor song on the hand drum for Brown and her staff. They discussed opportunities for Fiddler to partner with local organizations and explored potential locations for educational and cultural programming regarding Native American history, dance, and song in the Poconos.
