Food pantry volunteers to be feted

— Good Shepherd Parish Hall to all pantry volunteers: "Join us for the first Volunteer Celebration Dinner and enjoy an evening with other like-minded people!"

The dinner will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Friday, April 7, at the church, 110 West Catharine St., Milford.

The invitation says: "Volunteers are special people, and we believe that pantry volunteers are 'super special.' Your generosity, support and caring make a difference."

This will be a pot luck dinner. Bring your favorite dish, meet volunteers from other teams, and learn about new plans, initiatives, and dreams.
