— The Dingman Delaware Middle School Word Warriors competed at Easton Area High School on April 5 against 21 other schools from the Northeast Region.

The 19 students from DDMS had to read as many books as they could from a list of 42 books, and answer trivia questions during three rounds.

The school sent two teams headed by Mrs. Carmel Kratz and Mrs. Rachel Goldstein. Mrs. Kratz's team placed 15th and Mrs. Goldstein's placed 10th.
