— As part of Invasive Species Awareness Week, staff from the Catskill Regional Invasive Species Partnership will join the National Park Service to teach about identification and control of mile a minute vine.

Learn all about best management for this aggressive invader and help pull it from a heavily infested site near the Delaware River from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10, at the Skinners Falls Parking Lot, County Road 44, Narrowsburg, N.Y.

Mile a minute vine is an aggressive invasive vine native to Asia that has been found in the Catskills region. This vine grows incredibly quickly, shading out other native vegetation.

New York Invasive Species Awareness Week is July 8-14. For more information visit https://stoptheinvasionny.com.
