James J. Carbone presented with 10 Ideals Award

American Legion Post 254 in Honesdale presented the National Sons of the American Legion 10 Ideals Program Award and medal to James J. Carbone, at their monthly meeting. James is in seventh grade at Elite Leadership Academy. The 10 Ideals Program requires the student to complete and demonstrate a knowledge of character development and leadership. Post 254 meets at the Chamber of Commerce building at 7 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Any veteran interested in joining should contact Commander Bruck at 570-881-0592.
