Josephine McGahan of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., dies at age 93

Josephine McGahan of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., passed away on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018, at Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, Pa. She was 93.

Daughter of the late Arthur and Loretta (Wynne) Maxon, she was born March 19, 1925 in New York, N.Y. She was married to Wallace J. McGahan, who preceded her in death on Aug. 18, 1997.

Josephine was a retired elevator operator and later worked as a kitchen helper with Camp Speers-Eljabar, Dingmans Ferry, Pa.

She leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held at Stroyan Funeral Home in Milford on Nov. 13.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Nov. 14 at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Milford, Pa., with the Rev. John Boyle officiating. Cremation was to be held at the convenience of the family.
