'Toast to Milford' offers taste of the borough's best

— Taste, toast, and tour your away around Milford on Saturday, Oct. 22, when 32 specialty shops and eateries will be serving up samples of their specialties.
From contemporary craft beers and farm-fresh menu favorites to signature sangrias and delectable balsamic vinegars, the annual "Toast to Milford" appeals to the food and beverage connoisseur in all of us. Businesses such as Golden Gifts Jewelry, Green Valley Farms, and Realty Executives among several others, are all offering complimentary tastings.
The event begins with a sampling of Yirgacheff Coffee in the Delmonico Room of The Hotel Fauchere (401 Broad St.) and rounds out with seasonal sangria and snacks at Willow (317 Broad St.) until 8 p.m.
Craft beer tastings sponsored by LT Verrastro Distributors will be held at Ice Cold Beer Here at Key Food Marketplace from noon to 2 p.m., with encores at The Waterwheel Cafe & Bar from 2 to 3:30 p.m., and Jorgenson's at The Dimmick Inn from 5 until 7 p.m.

Fogwood & Fig cuisine at Lotus Yoga (108 East Ann St.)
Renegade Winery at the Milford Craft Show (120 East Harford St.)
The Fork at Twin Lakes from 1 to 4 p.m.
