PORT JERVIS — The Presby Players community theater group will be doing something a little different this season for their annual holiday show on Dec. 14, 15, and 16 at Marsh Hall in Port Jervis. A play will be included for the first time. It is set in a senior living facility and has an uplifting message of hope, just in time for the holiday season. It has a cast of four women from the adult acting group. “This year we have a one-act play called 'A Christmas Candle' adapted from a short story and following the play, members of the Presby Players’ young adult and adult acting groups will be performing traditional and modern Christmas carols," said director Jeffrey Stocker. The program, with musical direction by Sandy Stalter, is appropriate for all ages. The holiday show is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Dec. 14 and 15 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 16, at 3 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door. Marsh Hall is located at 60 Sussex St. in Port Jervis.
