Penny Vreeland Tuttle of Milford, Pa., dies at age 66

Penny Vreeland Tuttle of Milford, Pa., passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, at Bon Secours Hospital, Port Jervis, N.Y. She was 66.

Daughter of the late Albert and Doris (Hubert) Vreeland, she was born on Sept. 19, 1952, in Newark, N.J. She was married to Everett Elston Tuttle Jr., who preceded her in death.

Penny devoted her life sharing her gifts of abundant love and compassion as a respected licensed practical nurse for over 35 years.

Survivors include her daughters, Amanda Boyd of Shohola, Pa., and Sandra Partridge of Milford, Pa.; grandchildren, Nicholas and Edward Tuttle, and Brian and Emma Boyd; and brother, Albert Vreeland.

She was preceded in death by her son Everett (Eddie) Tuttle III. Penny was also loved by numerous devoted extended family members and close friends.

Cremation took place at convenience to the family. To honor the life of Penny Tuttle, a Celebration of Life gathering is planned from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Dingmans Township Fire Department, 680 Log Tavern Rd., Milford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pike County Humane Society, 189 Lee Road, Shohola, PA 18458.

Arrangements were made by Stroyan Funeral Home, Milford.
