Angela T. DiPiazza of Milford, Pa., dies at age 89

Angela T. DiPiazza of Milford, Pa., passed away at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, N.Y., on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019. She was 89.

Daughter of the late Guiseppe and Anna (Bonefede) Pirrone, she was born on Aug. 9, 1929, in Brooklyn, N.Y. She was married to the late Charles N. DiPiazza.

She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Church, Milford, Pa.

Angela had a love for cooking, especially Italian food. She will be remembered for being the social butterfly. She held her family dear to her and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She leaves behind her children, Nicholas Charles DiPiazza of Carefree, Ariz., MaryLynn Fairbanks of Milford, Pa., and Anita Gail DiPiazza of Kings Park, N.J.; grandchildren, Nicholas DiPiazza, Christopher DiPiazza, Melissa and wife, Sarah Fairbanks, and Briana Fairbanks; great-grandchildren, Olivia DiPiazza and Mia DiPiazza; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held at Stroyan Funeral Home in Milford on Jan. 7.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Jan. 7 at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Milford, with the Rev. John Boyle officiating.

Entombment was to take place at Queen of All Saints Cemetery, Central Islip, N.Y., at the convenience of the family.
