MILFORD — Students in Mrs. Genovese’s fourth grade class at Delaware Valley Elementary School learned about the world's biomes.

They discovered the different species of plants and animals that live in the various biomes, and discussed why some animals and plants can survive in a given area while others cannot.

Adaptations of both plants and animals are essential to living in the different climates that each biome has. Students were able to build a biome and research and present their findings to the class.
