Vincent J. Accordino

    Vincent J. Accordino of Milford, Pa., passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019, at Orange Regional Hospital, Middletown, N.Y. He was 79.
    Son of the late Peter and Ethel (Sussina) Accordino, he was born on Feb. 26, 1940, in Brooklyn.
    He was an electrician for IBW Local 363, New City, N.Y., and was a member of the Wayne/Pike Shrine Club and the Naurashank Lodge #589, Pearl River, N.Y.
    Vincent served as supervisor for Blooming Grove Township, Pa., from 2003-06 and councilman for the Milford Borough, Pa., from 2009-15.
    He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving from 1961-66 aboard the USS Essex, and Coast Guard Auxiliary from 1977-92.
    He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Bjork) Accordino; son, Paul Accordino of New York, N.Y.; daughter, Linda Guidet of Wallingford, Conn.; and grandchildren, Joseph, Peter, Justin, and Marissa.
    Visitation was held at Stroyan Funeral Home, Milford, on May 21. Cremation was private and at the convenience of the family.
