— Vernon Township High School (Glenwood, N.J.) defeated Delaware Valley High School (Westfall Township, Pa.) in girls varsity lacrosse on Monday, April 8.

The final score was 16-7. The game took place at Delaware Valley High School.

Vernon controlled the tempo of the contest early. Vernon led 12-3 at the half.

Vernon's Brielle Eilinger scored five goals, including the 100th of her career. Kathleen Smaldone contributed six goals, and Lexi Vizzini scored three goals. Madison DeVries and Tara Kipilla scored one goal apiece. Goalie Sydney Riker made eight saves.

Delaware Valley's Bailey Fedun and Miranda Murray each scored two goals. Madison Fedun, Skyler Padgett and Mia Van Wie scored one goal apiece.
