More than $1.4 million in grants will fund projects in Pike and Wayne counties, announced PA Sen. Lisa Baker and PA Reps. Rosemary Brown (R-Monroe/Pike) and Mike Peifer (R-Pike/Wayne).
The Local Share Account (LSA) grants are funded by gaming proceeds and awarded on a competitive basis. They may be used for economic development, community development, and public interest projects.
“The credit goes to the local officials, organization leaders, and residents who come up with worthy projects in vying for local share funding,” said Baker. “We will be looking forward to seeing the productive results of these community efforts.”
