Milford. The Delaware Valley Choral Society presents the area premiere of Karl Jenkins' The Peacemakers at 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, at the Delaware Valley High School auditorium, 252 Route 6 and 209, Milford.

Written in 2012, Jenkins sets famous inspiring text from Gandhi, Martin Luther King, the Dalai Lama, Nelson Mandela, Anne Frank, Mother Teresa, and scripture to uplifting music to inspire peace.

The performance for double chorus and symphony orchestra includes The Dingman Delaware Children's Choir, directed by Brian Krauss. Also on the program is Ludwig Van Beethoven's Meeres Stille and Gluckliche Fahrt, Op 112. (Calm Sea and Prosperous Voyage).

Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students.
