Workshop: 'How your backyard activities affect your lake'

The Pike County Conservation district is offering a free public workshop titled "How your backyard activities affect your lake" from 9 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 20, at the Dingman fire hall, 680 Log Tavern Road, Milford.

Learn how to manage invasive plants, landscape for a healthy environment, and attract pollinators to your garden in this second of a three-part series. The workshop will also explain how to use a rain barrel and install a rain garden.
