The Delaware Valley Elementary School Special Area teachers worked together to bring a wonderful Earth Day to their students.

All grade levels participated. The grades rotated through different activities.

They enjoyed launching water rockets with Mr. Mang. Then they also had a nature walk, which also tied into the Walk for Autism Awareness led by Mrs. Heather Hubbard and Mr. Chris Neidig. They raised $2,000 for Autism Awareness for P.A.S.S. (Pike Autism Support Services). During the walk, students also got to see Mrs. Lehman fast at work flying a shark kite!

The students worked on chalk drawing and seed pod creations with Mrs. Zito, Miss Kondracki and Mrs. Mauer.
