Scarecrows in the Park coming to Dingman on Sept. 21

Take the family to enjoy the delights of fall at Scarecrows in the Park.

The festival will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, at Dingman Township Park, 279 Log Tavern Road.

The main event is the scarecrow-decorating contest, which offers offers cash prizes for the best creations. For vendor or contest applications, or email recbd@ptd.net.

Other highlights include entertainment with Jeremy the Illusionist, a petting zoo with Country Ark Farms, free pumpkins (while they last), arts and crafts, music, an obstacle course, a Giant Twister game, bounce house, mechanical bull, potato sack and three-legged races, and more.
