Carmine Joseph Loiacono

Carmine J. Loiacono of Milford, Pa., passed away on Nov. 18, 2020, at Bon Secours Hospital, Port Jervis, N.Y. He was 88.

He worked as a Longshoreman for the New York Shipping Association, Local #79, in New York, N.Y.; was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Milford, and was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran, having served during the Korean War.

Son of the late Joseph and Anna (Danna) Loiacono, he was born on March 24, 1932 in New York, N.Y. He was preceded in death by his sons, Joseph and Vito; and his sister, Rose Mule.

Carmine leaves behind his daughter, Christine Larsen; grandchildren, Alexis and Joseph; brother, Joseph Loiacono and his wife Grace; sister, Theresa Loiacono and the beloved uncle of, Philip, Joseph, Joseph, Jr., Zach, Lindsey, and Anthony. He was blessed with many beautiful friends, neighbors, and fellow veterans.

Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 W. Harford St., Milford, PA on Monday, Nov. 23, 2020, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Patrick’s Church, Milford, on Tuesday, Nov. 24, at 10 a.m. with thw Rev. Joseph Manarchuck officiating. Burial will follow at Moravian Cemetery Staten Island, N.Y.
