Christine M. D’Alto of Matamoras, Pa., passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020, at Milford Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center, Milford, PA. She was 94.
Daughter of the late Anthony and Caroline (D’Ascoli) Sanseverino, she was born on April 29, 1926, in Brooklyn, N.Y.
She worked as an Office Clerk for Simon and Schuster Publishing Company, New York, N.Y. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Port Jervis, N.Y., and the St. Cono American Society.
Christine leaves behind her husband, Michael D’Alto; sons, Cono Michael D’Alto and his wife, Michelle, and Patrick Johnson and his wife, Joanna; grandchildren, Jason, Serena, Chrissy, Michael, Caroline, Stephanie, and Cono Jr.; and great-grandchildren, William, Owen, Lucas, Cailey, Michael, Christian, and Brooklyn.
Visitation was held at Stroyan Funeral Home in Milford on July 27. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on July 28 at St. Mary’s Church, Port Jervis, with the Rev. Matthew Newcomb officiating. Burial followed at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Port Jervis.
