Margaret M. Mitchell

Margaret M. Mitchell of Warwick passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, at her home. She was 79 years old.
Born on Jan. 14, 1938, in Scranton, Pa., she was the daughter of Bernard and Marian (McDonnell) Duffy.
She was the widow of John C. Mitchell Jr. (2003).
A homemaker, Margaret was a volunteer at St. Anthony Community Hospital and the Albert Wisner Public Library. She was a member of St. Stephen’s R.C. Church.
She is survived by her sons: John C. Mitchell III and his companion Robin Baggatta of Milford, Pa., Robert Mitchell and his wife Robin of Campbell Hall, and Timothy Mitchell and his wife Jennifer of Highland Mills; and her daughter Megan Fallin and her husband Donald of Fayetteville, N.C. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren: Casey, Sean, Jordan and Ryann.
Visitation will be on Sunday, Nov. 19, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday at St. Stephen's R.C. Church, followed by interment in St. Stephen Cemetery.
