Richard A. Ferrara of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., passed away on Friday, Sept. 13, 2019, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, Pa. He was 75.
Son of the late Jerry and Rose (Bordan) Ferrara, he was born on Sept. 1, 1944, in New York, N.Y.
Richard worked as a security officer for the New York Botanical Gardens and was a member of Mountain Laurel VFW Post 8612. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, having served in Vietnam.
He leaves behind his wife, Patricia Ferrara; daughters, Christine Rivera and Melissa Ferrara; son, Michael Rivera; and grandchildren, Victoria, Nicholas, Brian, and Olivia.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 23, at the Delaware Cemetery, Dingmans Ferry, Pa., with military honors.
Arrangements were made by Stroyan Funeral Home, Milford.
