Rosie May Frisbie of Hawley, Pa., died Wednesday, Nov. 20, at Ellen Memorial in Honesdale. She was 81.

Daughter of the late Johnathan and Elizabeth Green, was born on Jan. 10, 1938, in Scranton, Pa.

She and her husband lived between New York and New Jersey while their kids grew up, finally settling back in Hawley, where she lived for the better part of 30 years. She was cared for by her daughter, Pamela, for several years after being diagnosed with Parkinson's. She spent her last year as a resident at Ellen Memorial.

She was all about family. She loved making wedding cakes, cooking for holiday events, and crocheting. Decades of holidays were spent at the Frisbies'.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Frisbie Sr.; son, Jonathan Frisbie; siblings, Irene Watkins, Virginia Snyder, Marjorie Green, Myrtle Wahl, and Johnathan Green; sister, Lorraine Stiffey; children, Wayne (Jr.), Pamela, Michael, and Steven; grandchildren, Benjamin, Kevin, Jennifer, Alisha, Eric, Laurie, Gregory, Katherine, Tyffannee, and Nicholas; and her many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were by Teeter's Funeral Chapel, Hawley.
