Sheila Tobin Farrell

Sheila Tobin Farrell of Shohola, Pa., passed away at home on Sunday, May 24, 2020. She was 73.

Daughter of the late John Edward and Margaret (Flaherty) Tobin, she was born on Nov. 8, 1946, in Yonkers, N.Y.

She owned and operated the Rohman’s Pub in Shohola since 1984.

She attended Blessed Sacrament Academy and Elizabeth Seton College, both in Yonkers. She was an avid reader, enjoyed the Sunday New York Times crossword puzzles, cooking, travelling, and spending time with her family, especially doing activities and trips with her grandkids.

Sheila leaves behind her daughters (whom she shared with former spouse Denis Farrell), Meghan Rinkel of Milford, Pa., Beth Farrell of Redondo Beach, Calif., Mary Kate Herbert of Milford, Pa., and Kathleen Farrell of Shohola, Pa.; grandchildren, Sean Rinkel of Milford, Pa., Anderson and Jackson Herbert of Milford, Pa., Henry and Lorelei Hoeper of Shohola, Pa.; sister, Betty Smith of Bronxville, N.Y.; brothers, Tom Tobin of Mystic, Conn., and Jim Tobin of Barryville, N.Y.; and dear friend Donald Paulus of Barryville, N.Y.

Cremation was private at convenience to the family at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford Township. A memorial service will follow in the future when permitted.
