Valerie Burns Dux died Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center, Honesdale. She was 90.
Daughter of the late Curtis Alfred and Valerie Irene (Burns) Fridirici, she was born Jan. 10, 1930, in Northampton, Pa.
She was a teacher and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Honesdale.
She is survived by her daughters, Joan and her husband, John Hannes, of Shohola, Pa., and Amy Day of Charlotte, N.J.; sons, Philip H. and his wife, Therese Dux of Hawley, Pa., and Michael Edward and his wife, Eliza Dux, of Philadelphia.
Burial will be in Indian Orchard Cemetery, Honesdale.
Due to the current health crisis, the family will have a memorial service at a date and time to be announced.
