William Hunter Sumner

    William Hunter Sumner of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at home. He was 54.
    He was the Owner of Hunter Roofing Company.
    Son of the late William Howard and Juanita (Phillips) Sumner Jr., he was born on May 9, 1963, in Dallas, Texas. He was married to on Dec. 5, 1987.
    William leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Susan (Orrico) Sumner of Dingmans Ferry, Pa; daughter, Shannon Wisniewski of Milford, Pa.; sons, Hunter Sumner of Spring City, Pa., and Ian Sumner and his wife, Melissa, of Shohola, Pa.; sister, Nancy Mindlin; and five grandchildren.
    Cremation will take place at convenience to the family at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford Township.
    Memorial donations may be made to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (give.chop.edu).
    Arrangements were made by Stroyan Funeral Home, Milford.
