William Warren DeFebo Jr.

William Warren DeFebo Jr. f Lackawaxen, Pa., died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 9, 2020. He was 40.

Son of William DeFebo and Sharon Verill, he was born on Feb. 12, 1980, in Honesdale, Pa. He attended Wallenpaupack High School and Northampton Community College. He had a career as a local mason and enjoyed spending time with his family.

William leaves behind his fiancé, Sarah Joyce; children Madison, Kailey, Angelina, and Noah; siblings, Bekki DeFebo, Scott Cellar, Kenny DeFebo, Nicholas DeFebo, Joseph DeFebo, Katie Alvarez, Sarah Verrill, and Chris Kellam; nieces and nephews, Aja, Anthony, Cheyenne, Mya, Austin, Atreyu, Matthew, Andrew, Kayla, Kenny, Elijah, and Dominic; and many lifetime friends.

Bill was the most loyal, kindhearted man you ever met. He would do anything he could to help out anyone in need and would brighten even the darkest of days. He loved his family and friends with every fiber of his being. His sense of humor was one of a kind and you couldn’t be in his presence and not laugh. Billy was not always good at expressing himself, but you always knew that he loved you and made it a point to tell you.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Crystal.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the family plans to hold a memorial service at a later date. Arrangements are by Stroyan Funeral Home, Milford.
