JEM Screen Printing and The American Legion Post 139 in Milford have teamed up to bring some lighthearted fun to the Class of 2020 at Delaware Valley High School.

In "Find Your Senior," every member of the DVHS senior class will be will be prominently placed in a storefront in Milford or near the helicopter at American Legion Post 139. The seniors can hunt down their pictures while sticking to social distancing rules that have sidelined their last months in high school.

The idea was the brainchild of Gary Brennan, who contacted Post 139 Commander Connie Harvey. He wants to honor seniors during this most unusual year, when COVID-19 is making their physical graduation impossible.

Each senior is asked to submit a high-resolution photo to JEM Screen. It can be the senior's graduation photo or any other the senior wants to submit. The photo must be attached to an email and sent to info@jemspe.com, with the senior's name and phone number included in the email.

Each senior is asked to pay $20 to have a 12-by-18-inch single-sided photo with vinyl banner created by JEM Screen Printing. The deadlin is May 8. Payment may be made at: paypal.me/DVfindyoursenior. Select "family and friends" when paying online to avoid additional charges.

Anyone who wants to support the project may make a donation to "Adopt a Senior" on the site.

"We want each senior to have their picture posted," said Harvey. "We don't want anyone to be left out. A lot of families are struggling at this time, so let's all come together as one to make this happen. All leftover money will go back to the senior class for an all-out party when social distancing comes to an end. Seniors will chose their class gift."

Stores that want to participate, or anyone needing more information, may call Commander Harvey at 570-982-0982.
