The Pike County Public Library is collecting gently used coats for community members of all ages.

Anyone can stop by either the Milford or Dingman Township locations to donate or to take a coat. There will be no questions asked or qualifications to receive a coat.

The Milford location on East Harford Street will keep the coat rack outside on the front porch at all times until at least the new year. Community members should feel free to stop by at any time and take a coat if they are in need.

Dingman Township will have a coat rack set up in its lobby during regular hours of operation.

“We went through over 200 coats last year, so clearly there is a need for a program like this,” said library executive director Rose Chiocchi. “We are so thankful to see the community come together to help each other once again this year.”

The library plans to donate any remaining coats to a local organization in need at a later date. For more information on the Pike County Public Library and programs visit pcpl.org.
